Je to docela mo\u017en\u00e9. Prvn\u00ed n\u00e1znak toho, jak\u00e1 bude budoucnost na\u0161eho Slunce, byl objeven zcela n\u00e1hodou v roce 1764. V t\u00e9 dob\u011b sestavoval Charles Messier seznam rozpt\u00fdlen\u00fdch objekt\u016f, kter\u00e9 nelze zam\u011bnit s kometami. 27. objekt na Messierov\u011b seznamu, dnes zn\u00e1m\u00fd jako M27 nebo mlhovina \u010cinka, je planet\u00e1rn\u00ed mlhovina, jedna z nejjasn\u011bj\u0161\u00edch planet\u00e1rn\u00edch mlhovin na obloze, viditeln\u00e1 dalekohledem ve sm\u011bru souhv\u011bzd\u00ed Li\u0161ky (Vulpecula). Sv\u011btlu trv\u00e1 asi 1000 let, ne\u017e k n\u00e1m doraz\u00ed z M27, kter\u00e1 je zde zobrazena v barv\u00e1ch zv\u00fdrazn\u011bn\u00fdch \u010dervenou pro vod\u00edk a modrou pro kysl\u00edk. Dnes ji\u017e v\u00edme, \u017ee za p\u0159ibli\u017en\u011b 6 miliard let na\u0161e Slunce vypust\u00ed sv\u00e9 vn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed vrstvy do planet\u00e1rn\u00ed mlhoviny podobn\u00e9 M27, zat\u00edmco jeho zb\u00fdvaj\u00edc\u00ed j\u00e1dro se prom\u011bn\u00ed v horkou b\u00edlou trpasli\u010d\u00ed hv\u011bzdu vyza\u0159uj\u00edc\u00ed rentgenov\u00e9 z\u00e1\u0159en\u00ed.  Porozum\u011bn\u00ed fyzice a v\u00fdznamu mlhoviny M27 v\u0161ak bylo pro v\u011bdu 18. stolet\u00ed zcela mimo dosah.
